My PowerPoint project is all about getting kinds to want to exercise and have fun doing it. Also it emphasizes following directions and keeping safe. I selected this subject because I find this one of the subjects that schools are not emphasizing enough and some are actually taking away. I will be able to use this in my classroom when I am teaching about health and how to keep their bodies in shape. The students hopefully will learn different ways to exercise and also get a desire to exercise more often. Interactive PowerPoint presentation benefits include but are not limited to, getting the students involved in the lesson, keeping the students entertained, helps keep the students on task and paying attention, and it also is fun. Some new concepts that I learned that will help me with my teaching is that PowerPoint has interactive abilities. I did not know that I could use PowerPoint in such a way. This will help me keep the students on task and will get them more excited about the subjects that I will teach them. The things that worked well while preparing this presentation was the clip art and the clips of audio that I was able to find through the provided database that PowerPoint offers. The thing that did not go so well was being able to embed a video that I found on the web. I was not able to figure that one out. Three things that I learned that I can do in PowerPoint was, being able to put in picture animations, put in different audio segments of almost anything, and lastly that you can make an action button.
